Statements - (here is rough form, to be narrowed down to one line each perhaps)

2) Staff - An Exemplary Staff:

• models professionalism through personal integrity, commitment, ethical behavior and collaboration with others
• current research & proven best practices

3) Academic Excellence - In an Exemplary School:

• high standards, problem solving
• individual student needs (individualized instruction)
• character development

4) All Students - In an Exemplary School:

• accept responsibility for learning/actions
• develop a love for learning
• respect

5) Parents and Community Support - In an Exemplary School the parents and/or community:

• active role (partnership with teachers)
• feel welcome and invited (team members)
• model effective learning behaviors
